Joshua Nelken-Zitser is an award-winning Senior Reporter at Business Insider's London bureau, where he spent five years on the news desk.

He now writes first-person essays that draw on real experiences to explore how people navigate the changing landscapes of work, life, and the economy.

In 2024, Joshua received the Axel Springer Award for Change – Journalistic Piece of the Year and was highly commended at the British Journalism Awards.

Previously, Joshua was an editor for LBC and a freelance producer for BBC Radio 2.

He has an MA (First Class Hons.) in Politics from the University of Edinburgh and an MA in Broadcast Journalism from City, University of London. He also studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Joshua has appeared on the BBC, Times Radio, Sky News, NBC, The Young Turks, iHeartRadio, and 5 News, among other outlets.
